This project is based on the imaging principle of Halftone, a reprographic technique that simulates continuous-tone imagery through the use of shapes to form printed patterns and silhouettes (the integrated pattern of the overall look being composed of multiple items). In addition, from the perspective of clothing, the change of distance of the shapes forms two printing effects (dots superimposed printing and color block printing).

Behind the Hidden (2021)

2021 LCF MA Fashion Design Technology (Menswear)

In this menswear collection, 'Behind the Hidden,' the designer focused on linear folding of curved Spaces. He explored the inner relationship between concave and convex spaces to create complex cyclic patterns. The invisible zipper plays a role in opening and closing the space in the clothing structure, which further magnifies the overall visual experience of silhouette in the garment. Three-dimensional embossing relief technology pushes the collection to a broader perspective, by implanting colloid in the fabric to form lines on the garment surface. Aesthetically, each appearance represents a curved totem. It's a metaphor as well as a symbol.
